Rachel Peters has pursued her passion for photography since the age of 5, when she received her first camera. Combining this love with her strong values of family and friendship, she has built a solid reputation of capturing life's most important events. A native of Rustico, Prince Edward Island, Rachel has drawn inspiration from her home's natural beauty and strong sense of community. Her photographs make the most of on this background, not only in their artistic quality, but also in their ability to seize dynamic moments. Her philosophy is to make people enjoy getting their photo taken, mingling posed and spontaneous shots. She says: "The best results come when people are natural and relaxed. I am not a photographer who creates a stagnant picture, but an observer who shoots real moments in time." Rachel gives her clients the freedom to be themselves, helping them to enjoy the process and adding to the uniqueness of the occasion. Rachel uses Nikon equipment in 35mm & Digital. She specializes in black and white photographs, in a photojournalistic style but also offers color prints.
